  waited 2 hours after I went there. I made an appointment 1.5 months ago, so I expected to be seen on time, after waiting that long, a nurse took my temperature, then after 40 minutes or so, a doctor came to see me. Should have gone to some other place if my primary care provider allowed me to do so.

  Way too busy to provide any level of customer service. When I call to make appointments, I wait a minimum of 10 minutes (often longer). You have to schedule WAY in advance and they leave no room for last minute needs (example: my toddler has an appt tomorrow for a checkup, he is screaming and holding his ear today, likely an ear infection that didn't clear up from last week's antibiotics, can you PLEASE fit him in today?) However, this inflexibility in scheduling doesn't mean less wait time in the office. I have been to the office in Reston several times, with two different children, and I have never actually seen a doctor (they have nurse practitioners, which I have no problem with) except for the morning of their ear tube surgeries. Once you are face-to-face with a person, they are very nice, but I find their operations extremely frustrating, and a waste of my valuable time. I am changing to a less busy practice so I can actually get my children's needs met. Although this practice is recommended by people I know, I found nothing exceptional about any aspect of it.
